Rockson Engineering- Field Engineering Manager


Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:
Coordinating all engineering related activities at sit
Reports directly to the Project Manager, while working in close contact with the engineering Manage
Design drawings document control and interpretation suppor
Shop drawings document control and interpretation support
Construction engineering management
Process engineering RFI's.
Develops and maintains construction as-built drawing file
s.
Supplies engineering input for construction planning.
Reviews and approves subcontractor submittals.
Provides technical data for onsite purchasing.
Resolution of engineering-related site problems.
Supports the Base Manager on spare part inventory.
Administers electronic communication file system.
Administers communication documentation file system

Qualifications

B.Eng or its equivalent in any engineering discipline.
Minimum of 10 years hand-on experience, of which at least 4 years should preferably have been in an independent generation and transmission, or oil service company.
A relevant professional Engineering qualification will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in the use of computer aided design packages such as AutoCAD.
And must be less than 40 years old at the time of submitting application.
